About us
Corsinvest was founded in 1996 in Calcinato, near Brescia. For 30 years we have built software and designed the infrastructure it runs on. Several clients have been with us since then.
Where we come from
We began by writing bespoke business software, and over time the work extended to everything needed to keep it running: servers, storage, networks, continuity of service. The industry changed direction several times along the way — client-server, web, virtualization, cloud — and each turn made something obsolete that had looked settled.
What we took from it
That the riskiest technical choice is not the wrong one but the one you cannot reverse. A system built on open platforms and documented standards can be moved, upgraded on your schedule, handed to another supplier. One built on a closed platform holds only until the vendor changes its pricing or its strategy — which in recent years has happened to a great many companies, without notice.

How that works in practice
We design on technology you can inspect and that does not depend on a single vendor. Software we develop is delivered with its source. Tools we find missing we write and publish, because that is how this trade has improved over the past twenty years and we see no reason to behave otherwise.
